Overview of designs

Design is all about re-imagining the future. I'm interested in design as a way of conjuring possible futures and challenging the way people think about the things around them. In this way my design work heavily focused on prototyping and is still part of the research process and used to improve engagement, encourage participation or model use.

I am also keen to support the idea that non-professional designers can, should and do design. What this means is that, not only is it valuable to encourage non-designers to think about design problems, but also to understand the wide range of actors that can have far-reaching and unforeseen impacts on the design. As a design researcher I'm interested in working with decision makers to think carefully about the range of actors that impact how a thing acts in the real world.
